Just up the road, George Bagby State
Park, situated on the shores of Lake Walter F. George, contains a full
service marina, swimming beaches, playgrounds, picnic areas and
shelters, and nature trails. There is ample room for your favorite
water sport. Accommodations within the park include the Walter
F. George Lodge and Convention Center, which offers 60 spacious rooms,
dining and meeting rooms, a swimming pool and tennis courts. Fully
equipped two-bedroom lakeview cottages are also available within the
park.

access campground, has over
100 waterfront sites with electrical and
water hookups, grills, picnic tables, laundry and shower facilities.
